Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the effort. It's a cool little board. But this ain't gonna last, is it? We've already been "scattered to the winds," as another anon put it. I think that describes /k/'s situation perfectly. Bigger boards have very active enclaves, and smaller boards also seem to have found dedicated homes. But I go to /k/ enclaves and they're ghost towns. Sure, some of the better ones have little to no cancer, but they're averaging one post per hour, if you're lucky. The one really active board is... I don't know about you, but I'm not posting there. Were we destined for death? After years of getting neglected and abused by jannies with agendas... after creating so much /k/ulture, and passively exporting it to the wider internet and gun world... after enduring countless raids and taking the blame for so many tragedies... this is how we die. We simply weren't dedicated or big enough to survive. I don't know if Badgerhound or Yooperpatch do this for a living or if it's just a hobby, but if you two (or anyone else) do rely on this for income, I hope you can stay in business without having to resort to pandering to redditors.
