He tightened his clutch on the rifle in his hands and began to slowly rise to his feet, trying to get a measure on his surroundings. The nearest building was 30 metres away - his trip to salvage the petch placed him near the middle of the roadway. As he looked around for another exit, a dark shadow loomed over John. He looked up, truly fearing for the first time in his life, unsure of what he was witnessing above. The Giant never actually had left. The impossibly loud footsteps and size of the creature had prevented John from ever getting a good luck at it. But with the sun behind him, the dark truth was revealed. John halo slowly lifted his eyes above The Giant's fuzzy grown feet, revealing a upright bipedal squirrel, with the most unfortunately grotesque and large male phallus directed right at him. A massive rush of air knocked John halo off his feet, hurtling both him the Taxi towards oblivion. Clutching his freshly adorned shoulder with his hand, he prayed as the light faded.
"Worth it," he muttered as he slipped from consciousness.
